Privacy policy

REI Deals is a solo consulting practice. This policy covers the rei.deals website and the tools I run for clients.

The site itself collects standard server logs and anonymous visit statistics through Cloudflare Web Analytics. That counts page views, the page a visitor came from, the browser and device type, the country, and how fast pages load. It sets no cookies and does not identify anyone or follow them to other sites. No tracking pixels, no ad tech. If you email me or book a call, I keep that correspondence and nothing else.

For clients, REI Deals acts as a service provider, or processor, for the data those tools handle. You own it and decide what it is for. I run the tool.

The pre-form alert collects, for each visit to your site, the page path, seconds on the page, how far the visitor scrolled, whether a form was started, the ad source, the visitor's city and state, and the network number that identifies the visit. It does not keep the visitor's IP address, does not collect a name, and does not build a profile of anyone. That data goes only to you, the client whose site it runs on. It is never sold and never shared with anyone else.

Alert data is kept for 90 days and then deleted. Lead data in a CRM I host is kept for the length of our engagement and deleted on your request when it ends. Two subprocessors are involved, Cloudflare for hosting and storage and Twilio for calls and texts. If I learn of a breach affecting your data, I notify you within 48 hours.
